Who doesn’t love a good brunch? Come for the mimosas, stay for the eggs.
Brunch is not a new concept, but it’s newer to Downtown Rome. Over the last couple of years we’ve had a flurry of fun brunch menus pop up and we want to share them here with you! Next time you’re looking for the perfect spot, look no further!
SATURDAY & SUNDAY
There’s only one option when it comes to brunch on both Saturday AND Sunday, and that’s the newly opened Melinda’s. This is your classic brunch spot with a slight twist. You can get an omelette, breakfast platter, or eggs benedict. Or maybe you’re more interested in shrimp and grits – we’ve heard they have some to die for! Chicken and waffles your thing? They have it. But have you had a burger with wagyu, bison, elk, AND wild boar? Melinda’s is the place for you!
Plus, you can’t forget the $15 mimosa pitchers and BOGO Bloody Mary’s!
When it comes to brunchin’ on a Saturday you only have one other choice – Blossom Hill BBQ & Burgers!
Blossom Hill’s brunch is a tasty twist on their regular menu! You can of course get some of their famous sandwiches, like the Angry Pig or the Sweet Pig, but you can also get brunch favorites like a chicken biscuit, bbq omelette, french toast dippers, grits, and chocolate doughnuts! Plus, you can enjoy this delicious meal outside in their patio and greenspace – right near the bar! Perfect for a quick trip for a drink special, mimosa, or bloody mary along with some cornhole and putting!
Sunday, Brunch day – that’s what we always say! On top of Melinda’s, we have several other restaurants offering brunches on Sundays!
Yes, you heard that right. Downtown’s oldest mexican restaurant serves BRUNCH!
The hangover burrito might be the most famous, with steak, chicken, chorizo, egg, rice, and beans topped with queso dip, spicy tomatillo sauce, avocado, and bacon crumbs! But you can also get items like brunch tacos, chicharrones, and even a brunch burger! Don’t forget the avocado margarita, mexi-mosa or mezcalero to drink!
Now this is your classic brunch!
Avocado toast, fried green tomatoes, eggs benedict, southern signature grit bowl…. But wait, there’s more…. Maine lobster roll, biscuit & gravy, and a southern signature biscuit? All your favorites right here in one place! Oh, did we mention bottomless mimosas? And a full bar of options, including bloody mary’s and martinis!
Another new comer to the brunch world is John Henry’s!
Another spot for bottomless mimosas, a variety of bloody mary options, and several other fun brunch drinks! The menu is just as yummy with a sunrise burger, french toast, steak & eggs, and more!
