The Rome-Floyd SPLOST Citizens Advisory Committee has recommended projects totaling $65 million. This package is set to be voted on in November 2013. This 1-cent special purpose, local option sales tax package is comprised of many different projects pertaining to recreation, public safety and the economy. The tax would be implemented for 5 years. Here is a breakdown of the projects that directly affect downtown:

Rome City Auditorium
The Forum
Trail Connectivity
City Milling and Paving
