There has been a change of plans for the Riverwalk project along the banks of
the Oostanaula River located near the Town Green and The Forum Civic Center. The discovery of old construction materials led the city’s Public Services Manager, Kirk Milam, to change plans to incorporate a “boardwalk” instead of extending the Riverwalk under the Fifth Ave Bridge. Retaining walls continue to be built separating the upper and lower pathways. What’s next? Restoration of the Town Green and a new boat dock for the Roman Holiday.
