Parking Study March-April 2023
The Rome Downtown Development Authority will conduct a parking study in the downtown area starting March 1st through April 30th. During the months of March and April, the three-hour parking limit for on-street parking will not be enforced. The public parking decks and lots will continue to be monitored as usual and will require either a permit or vehicle registration upon arrival.
This study’s goal will be to track consumer behavior and spending trends. Please note that to gather this data, the patrol car will still continue to run as normal. We encourage all downtown parking permit holders, residents, business & property owners, and employees to continue to utilize off-street parking.
There will be no immediate changes to the current parking regulations following this study; however, the results from this study will help us navigate the future of parking, specifically as redevelopment takes place in the River District.
For any questions, please email parking@romega.us, call 706-236-4520, or stop by our office at 607 Broad Street.
