Halloween in Downtown Rome
In lieu of our regular Downtown Trick or Treat, this year we bring you the Downtown Rome Candy Crawl!
During the week of Halloween, Monday through Friday, children 12 & under will be able to “Trick or Treat” at participating businesses when dressed up in costume.
Businesses will have a large printed out candy corn placed in their window during this week to show they are participating. From Monday through Friday children who are dressed up can pop in the participating businesses for a piece of candy or goody from the business!
We encourage parents to join the children when popping into these businesses!
To end the week we present a new event this year:
The Office of Downtown Development and the Business Improvement District present a new, FREE event for the community, Halloween Movie Night!
On Friday, October 30th we will be screening Casper at the Rome City Auditorium beginning at 6:30pm. Admission is FREE, but you MUST have a ticket to attend. Due to covid-19 restrictions, capacity will be reduced. Attendees will need to sit in groups with their household and remain socially distant from other groups upon arrival and seating. Masks are encouraged. If you are sick, we ask that you do not attend the event.
