Fiddlin’ Fest Transforms Downtown Rome Into One Giant Street Festival Featuring Bluegrass Music, Craft Vendors, A Car Show & More!
The 2023 Fiddlin’ Fest is a FREE bluegrass street festival in Downtown Rome featuring the classical sounds of bluegrass music on two live music stages along with activities along every block of the festival.

Both regional and local bluegrass bands recognized for their instrumental talent and musical energy will be invited to be a part of this event. Stay tuned for the amazing line up!

In addition to music, there will be fun extended to every block of the festival. There are always a multitude of craft vendors with everything from pottery and handmade jewelry to paintings and tie-dye – you are bound to find something you love!

Cars on Broad car show will feature cars from every decade including pre-1950, street rod, original, rat rod, trucks and more. The Armuchee Ruritan Club who is presenting the show will judge and offer “Best of” awards in several categories. Interested participants can register online at the festival website.

The festival will include other things like pony rides, Fiddlin’ on the River, and kid activities provided by our amazing local nonprofits! Downtown shops will feature sidewalk sales and restaurants will offer food and drinks for sale outside their businesses.

The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 14 on Broad Street. The event is free thanks to Downtown Rome businesses and property owners (BID), the Hampton Inn, and River City Bank. Streets will close that morning at 7am and reopen by 8pm.

- How much does this event cost?
- Entry is free! Vendors will have items for purchase and the pony rides will be $5. We encourage you to shop and eat downtown while at the festival!
- Are dogs allowed at Fiddlin’ Fest?
- YES! We love to see dogs at our events! Just please keep them on a leash and clean up after them.
- Where can I park?
- There will be parking available in the 3rd Ave deck by the Forum, as well as in the 4th Ave deck and 6th Ave deck.
- What time will the street be closed off?
- The street will be closed from 7am-8pm.
