The City of Rome is offering an exciting opportuni

The City of Rome is offering an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurs at 110-112 Broad Street, a prime location in the heart of historic Downtown Rome, GA.

The City, through the Downtown Development Authority (DDA), is seeking innovative proposals to add new business to the vibrant community and contribute to the district’s growth.

The location at 110-112 Broad Street, situated on Broad Street, is part of a special community that hosts a mix of retailers, restaurants, hotels, and residential areas. This initiative supports business owners with resources, grants, and low-interest loan options to help turn their entrepreneurial ideas into reality. Proposals are open for a unique business concept that will enhance the downtown experience and contribute to Rome’s charm and economy.

Key Details:
- Open House Walk-Through: December 4th, 2024, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Proposal Submission Deadline: January 16th, 2025, 2:00 p.m. (Proposals are to be submitted in-person.)

Incentives:
- Grants from $3,000 to $5,000
- Façade grant program (up to $5,000)
- Downtown marketing grant (up to $1,000)
- Eligibility for a low-interest revolving loan of up to $250,000
This opportunity gives a notable chance for business owners to shape the future of Rome’s historic downtown.
